1) Malaysia

a) KL & Selangor Same Day Delivery

Enjoy the convenience of same-day delivery to most locations in KL & Selangor, including our full range of products, from dry to frozen items. Getting your vegan haul delivered to you can't get any easier! 

Here’s everything you need to know:

1. Choosing Your Delivery Time

  • Date & Time Slots: Pick your preferred delivery date and time from our available slots. We offer slots for up to 10 days from the current time, subject to availability.
  • Open Every Day: We operate every day, including weekends and most public holidays, so we can deliver on any day of the week.
  • Changing Delivery Time: We recommend not changing your chosen time. If a change is necessary due to an emergency, we may allow a change at our discretion.

2. Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees reflect the cost of third-party services, such as Lalamove, to ensure timely delivery.
  • They also account for other expenses, such as packaging, that contribute to making the delivery possible.
  • We use fast delivery services like Lalamove to ensure products, especially chilled or frozen items, remain cold (chilled or frozen) during transit. The delivery will occur within 1-2 hours from dispatch.

3. Discounted Delivery Rates

Enjoy discounted delivery fees based on your order value. The discounts are automatically applied at checkout:

  • Free Delivery: If the delivery discount exceeds the original delivery charge, you get FREE DELIVERY!
  • Large/Fragile Orders: Orders over 10kg or involving fragile items (e.g., cupcakes) require special handling by car and additional charges may apply. However, discounts will still be honoured for qualifying order values.
  • Chilled/Frozen Products: Ice packs may be provided at our discretion to maintain temperature control during delivery.

4. Order Tracking

  • Once dispatched, you'll receive email notifications with tracking details.
  • To ensure you receive all updates, please add our email address hello@vegandistrict.my to your VIP Contact or Favourites in your email to avoid any missed notifications.
  • If you haven't received tracking information after your chosen delivery time window, please contact us via live chat for assistance.

5. Receiving Your Order

  • Be Available for Delivery: Ensure you're at the location during the delivery window. If you're unavailable, arrange for the parcel to be left with a trusted neighbour or in a safe place.
  • Contactable Information: Make sure the mobile number provided is correct and you’re reachable. If the driver can’t contact you, the parcel may be left with your building's security or at your door/gate.

6. Delivery Attempts & Changes

  • Delivery Attempts: Our delivery rates apply to one delivery attempt only. If a second delivery attempt is needed, any associated costs will be your responsibility.
  • Changing Delivery Location: If you need to change the delivery location after the order has been dispatched, additional delivery charges may apply. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss any location changes.

7. Delivery Delays & Instructions

  • Delays: We aim to deliver within the chosen time window, but delays may occur due to unforeseeable circumstances (e.g., weather, courier availability).
  • Delivery Instructions: While we try our best to follow special delivery instructions, we cannot guarantee that all instructions will be followed by the delivery driver.

b) Pickup Option

For those who prefer to collect their orders in person, we offer a pickup option:

  • Order & Pickup: Place your order online to reserve the products you want and pick them up at your convenience from our outlet.
  • Pickup Timing: Specify the time and day you'll collect your order. We’ll hold it for a maximum of 5 days.
  • Processing Time: Please allow 1-2 hours for us to process your order before it’s ready for pickup. You will be notified when your order is ready.
  • Third-Party Pickup: If you’re arranging a third-party delivery rider to pick up your order, please inform us in advance.
    • Please note that, as we're not charging you delivery fees (which includes the costs of packaging materials and packing labour), we do not pack pickup orders for you.
    • Please only arrange for the rider once we notify you that the order is ready for pickup to avoid any confusion or delay.
    • We highly recommend using our delivery service for a smoother delivery process and to ensure your order is delivered in the best condition possible.

  • Available daily from 11am to 6pm.
  • Last order for same-day pickup is at 5pm.

c) Peninsular Malaysia: Cold Shipping

We offer chilled and frozen product delivery to most areas in Peninsular Malaysia. Here’s everything you need to know about the delivery process:

Delivery for KL/Selangor: Same-day delivery service is available (see section 1(a) for more details).

Delivery for Areas Outside KL/Selangor: We use a premium courier service for deliveries outside KL/Selangor.

  • Your products are packed using styrofoam boxes and ice packs that stay cool for up to 48 hours.

  • Frozen products may defrost during transit depending on the distance and shipping time.

    • If products are still frozen on arrival, pop them immediately in the freezer.
    • If products are thawed, store them in the fridge and consume within a few days.
  • We cannot guarantee that products will remain frozen or chilled upon arrival, as the courier service controls the delivery process. 

  • You can provide delivery instructions during checkout in the notes section, but we cannot guarantee that the courier will follow them.

  • Please ensure someone is at the location on the delivery day to receive your products.

    • If you're unavailable, you may ask the courier to leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour. Please note that second delivery attempts are not possible.
  • Expected Delivery Times:

    • 1 day after shipping for most areas in Peninsular Malaysia.
    • 2-3 days for remote areas (including Langkawi).
  • Shipping Days for Frozen/Chilled Products:

    • Frozen and chilled orders can only be shipped from Monday to Wednesday.
    • Orders should be placed by 10am on Wednesday for same-week delivery. Orders placed after Wednesday will be shipped the following week.
  • Public Holiday Delays: Delivery delays may occur due to public holidays.

  • Email Notifications:

    • You will be notified via email when your parcel is scheduled for dispatch, with a tracking link for monitoring.

Shipping Charges for Peninsular Malaysia

  • First kg: RM35 (includes styrofoam box and ice packs).
  • Every subsequent kg: RM3.50.
  • Maximum weight for Cold Shipping: 15kg.

d) Nationwide: Dry Shipping (Excludes Chilled & Frozen Items)

We offer dry shipping for most dry products (excluding chilled and frozen items) nationwide, including East Malaysia. Please refer to the product page description for items that are not suitable for dry shipping.

Shipping Calculation: Shipping is calculated based on the total weight of the order.

Delivery Time:

  • Peninsular Malaysia: Generally delivered within 3-7 working days.
  • East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan): Delivery may take up to 1-2 weeks.

Tracking Information: Tracking details will be provided after your order is processed.

Free Delivery (Peninsular Malaysia Only): Free delivery is available for orders above RM150 (excluding chilled/frozen products).

  • The maximum weight for free shipping is 5kg.
  • For orders over 5kg and above RM150, a reduced shipping price will apply.

Additional Charges for Chocolates: When chocolates are added to the cart, an additional RM3 charge will apply for special packaging.

  • This charge is added to the total even if the customer qualifies for free delivery.
  • If more than 10 chocolates are added, an additional RM3 will be added to the delivery charge.

 

Delivery Restrictions: No delivery is made over weekends (Saturday and Sunday) or public holidays.

Potential Delivery Delays: Delivery delays may occur due to public holidays, extreme weather or natural disasters.

e) SHOPEE

If you are a frequent Shopee shopper, we have you covered! A select number of our products (non-chilled/non-frozen) are now available on the Shopee platform too. Click here to visit our Shopee store.

Recommendation for KL & Selangor Customers

  • For customers in KL & Selangor, we recommend purchasing through our website to take advantage of same-day delivery and minimised packaging waste.
  • As we are open every day except major public holidays, we can send your products on any given day.
  • For more details, please refer to point 1(a) on our website.

Shipping via Shopee

  • Shipping via Shopee's couriers may take a few days or up to one week under normal circumstances. 
  • Shopee’s shipping charges are beyond our control and may vary based on their policies.
  • For all shipping methods calculated based on weight, the higher of dimensional weight vs. product weight is used to determine shipping charges.

f) GrabMart

We offer the option to purchase some of our products via GrabMart for customers within Grab's delivery radius in Kota Damansara.

How to Shop via GrabMart (Klang Valley Customers)

  • If you're in Klang Valley and within Grab's delivery radius from our store in Kota Damansara, simply tap this link on your mobile phone to be redirected to Vegan District Kota Damansara GrabMart.

Note for Larger Orders

  • For big or complex orders, we strongly urge you to purchase via our online store instead of GrabMart.
    • Reason: Large orders require more time, care and bigger packing materials and Grab riders cannot wait too long or hold all the items in their bags.

2) Singapore
