How to Enjoy
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan and stir in the contents of the tray for 1 minute.
- Add 7 g of salt (or to taste). For extra depth of flavour, you may also add 50 ml of white wine and allow it to evaporate.
- Gradually add about 750 ml of hot water while stirring continuously until the risotto becomes creamy and reaches an al dente texture, about 25 minutes over medium heat.
- Remove from the heat and stir through vegan Parmesan (like Verdanya's vegan parmesan powder) or a splash of plant-based cooking cream or coconut milk if desired.
For one serving: Use approximately 95 g of the risotto mix with 300 ml of water. Remember to shake the tray before cooking to evenly distribute the ingredients.
