Vegan District’s Punjabi-style Chapati is made with 100% whole wheat flour, bringing you an authentic, wholesome taste that’s perfect for any meal. A staple in Punjabi cuisine, chapati is a soft, round flatbread that pairs beautifully with lentil or vegetable curry, or can be used as a wrap for your favourite fillings.
Traditionally cooked on a hot griddle for that perfect texture, our chapati offers a simple yet satisfying addition to any vegan meal. Enjoy it fresh and warm or store it for a quick and delicious meal any time.
Ingredients: 100% whole wheat flour, vegetable oil, salt.
Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C.
Heating instructions:
- Cut the pouch. Allow chapati to thaw for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Heat a non-stick pan or skillet at low/medium level and cook the chapati while pressing lightly on all sides with a spatula for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Flip over and cook the other side for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Chapati is ready to serve. Some oil or vegan butter may be brushed on 1 side for an extra flavour (optional).
Servings: 5 pieces per pack. Serves 1-2 people.
