Description

Cauliflower Manchurian is an Indo-Chinese dish featuring crispy cauliflower florets coated in a rich, flavourful sauce made with capsicum, carrots, soy sauce and a blend of aromatic spices. This popular street food in India combines savoury, sweet and spicy flavours in one satisfying dish.

For a quick and easy meal, simply heat the cauliflower and sauce separately, then combine. This authentic and delicious vegan option offers a perfect balance of textures and bold flavours, bringing a true taste of Indo-Chinese cuisine to your table.

Ingredients: Cauliflower, capsicum, carrot, ginger, coriander leaves, corn flour, all purpose flour, chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, soya sauce, tomato sauce, chilli paste, vegetarian oyster sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, vegetable oil.

Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C.

Heating instructions: Heat the sauce and cauliflower separately, then combine and serve hot.

A. For the sauce

  • Microwave: Transfer to a microwave-safe dish, add 1/4 cup water and heat on high for 1 minute.
  • Stove-top: Transfer to a pan, add 1/4 cup water and cook on medium for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Air fryer/Oven: Transfer to an oven-safe dish, add 1/4 cup water and heat at 160°C for 2-3 minutes.

B. For the cauliflower

  • Microwave: Transfer to a microwave-safe dish and heat on high for 1 minute.
  • Air fryer/Oven: Transfer to an oven-safe dish and heat at 160°C for 5 minutes.

Servings: Serves 1-2 people.
