Here's an instant sauce for Portuguese style steamed/grilled/fried "fish". Replace fish with tofu, tempeh, seitan, mushroom or any vegan meat of your choice to veganise.
Ingredients: Onion, Lemongrass, Chilli, Torch Ginger, Sugar, Salt & Palm oil.
To Steam : Pour over 800g of vegan protein (tofu, tempeh, seitan, mushroom or any vegan meat) of your choice with Instant Portuguese Style Sauce, steam for 15 minutes or until the vegan protein is cooked. Serve hot.
To Grill : Pour over 800g of vegan protein with Instant Portuguese Style Sauce, wrap with aluminium foil, put into oven to bake or grill over heat until cooked. Remove the aluminium foil and serve with lime juice & onion.
To Stir Fry : Sauté Instant Portuguese Style Sauce until aromatic. Add in 800g of vegan protein and continue to stir-fry until it is cooked.
