Kuang Chiang is one of the most well-known traditional Teochew delicacies. The beancurd skin is wrapped around local taro (no cornstarch), jicama slices, shiitake mushrooms, and stir-fried peanut chunks.
It is perfectly seasoned with a balance of savoury with a delightful umami finishing. Pinxin’s Teochew Kuang Chiang is also 100% handmade.
Before you fry the Kuang Chiang, you can steam it on fresh banana leaves until it is cooked to add extra fragrance to it. Best paired with chilli paste.
All Pinxin products are vegan (have no animal products) and have no pungent spices (in other words, no onion no garlic).
