Himalayan black salt is generally dark reddish black color and has a distinctive pungent smell and sulphurous odour. It has many healing properties including it being anti flatulent, carminative, antacid, anthelmintic and digestive stimulant. Best to avoid using it if you have hypertension.

Used this miraculous seasoning together with Follow Your Heart Vegan Egg and the result was pretty fabulous!
This black salt imparts a very eggy smell & taste to the Vegan Egg thanks to its mysterious sulphurous odour.
In fact, a Vegan Egg wouldn't be near perfect without this special kind of salt..
Side note: 'kala namak' may very well be an acquired taste for many; meaning that not everyone may like it at first taste.
