Ketupat - rice cubes important in the Malay and Indonesian cuisines, especially during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Ketupat is usually served with rendang, satay and peanut sauce.
But its versatility as a rice-based dish allows it to go well with almost anything like masak lemak, Indian curries/gravies and Thai curries.
Ingredient: Rice.
Cooking Instructions:
1) Boil the rice packets in a cooking pot, with water covering rice packets, for 60-90 minutes. Add a little salt to taste, if desired. The cooking pot should be covered at all times.
