Vegan cheese is hard to find in Malaysia, but not anymore! This vegan hard parmesan style cheese is flavourful and versatile! It is a fairly strong flavoured cheese, which works really well on top of pizzas, shredded finely on top of pasta, chopped or shredded in salads, or even for snacking with fruits and crackers. This is quite a firm cheese, and can easily be shredded, sliced, and also melted.

This new hard Parm is so freaking good, it grates to finish off pastas AND melts for baked dishes well top! I've tried the Violife "Parm" and it grates but does not melt, it just goes all dry and weird. This My Plant Deli one is leaps and bounds ahead of any other plant Parm I've tried. I'm always partial to this brand because they use mostly real foods and less emulsified oils.
I always buy My Plant Deli cheeses and love them all, but the new ones with sunflower seeds are really fantastic - all of them have a good firm texture and the parmesan is really firm - grates just like 'real' parmesan and tastes delicious. Really impressed - yum!
