Here's an instant sauce for rendang. Replace meat with tofu, tempeh, mushroom or any vegan meat of your choice to veganise.
Ingredients: Onion, Lemongrass, Chilli, Spices, Ginger, Sugar, Galangal, Salt and Edible Oil (Palm oil).
Sauté Instant Rendang Sauce with 1.2kg of tofu/tempeh/mushoom/vegan meat on medium heat until aromatic. Add in 300ml water and stir-fry for 20 minutes. Lastly, add in 200ml coconut milk and simmer on low heat until the vegan protein is tender and gravy thickens.
