Description

The higher content of saturated fat in the oil, the more stable they are when heated. It's molecular structure is heat stable and will not react with oxygen and form harmful compounds when exposed to high heat.

Over 90% of the fatty acids in this coconut oil are saturated, which makes it very resistant to heat.

The melting point of coconut oil is generally quoted at 24 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is above 24 degrees Celsius, the oil will become liquid. If the temperature is below 24 degrees Celsius, it will become solid. However, this will not affect the quality of the oil.
